Greetings,

Your team is cordially invited to participate in the 17th Annual Eagle Invitational Speech Tournament at Eden Prairie High School on Saturday January 30, 2021.  All 13 MSHSL categories and Program Oral Interpretation (POI) will be offered.  We will use MSHSL and NSDA rules for all categories.

Since the tournament will be online this year and space is not an issue, we will have Varsity compete against Varsity competitors for prelims and final.  Novice will compete only against Novice competitors for prelims and final.  Please note, Varsity means any participant who participated in the Activity at the high school level in a previous season.  Novice means any participant new to the activity at the high school level, not new to a category (a sophomore switching categories from freshmen year is a Varsity entry).  Out of state teams are welcome to participate.  Please do not enter a first year participant in Novice if they have completed or are near completing a full Speech season in their state.  Novice for this tournament means first year high school speech participants competing in their 1st, 2nd, or possibly 3rd tournament.

This Tournament is a NIETOC Bid Tournament.
