This is a High School tournament in Nebraska.

Date: Saturday, January 23rd, 2021

Entries: Due by Tuesday, January 18th. 

-Drops made later than Thursday, January 21st will not reduce fees. 

-Adds will be taken up until Wednesday, January 20th at 12:01 PM.  After that point, no adds.

-Unlimited entries per event (this means teammates may be competing against each other)

-Limit individuals to entering in three total events.

-We will use SpeechWire for registration and other meet preparations.

-There is novice division

Judges/Coaches Meeting: I’ll send out information to pass on to judges the week of the meet.

Entry Fee: $7.00 per entry

Judging Fee:  Schools are to provide one judge for every SIX entries.  There will be a fee of $75.00 for every six entries OR

PORTION THEREOF not covered. 

EX: 12 entries – provide 2 judges; 14 entries – provide 3 judges

Awards: There will be medals provided to the Top 8 in each event of Varsity and Top 5 for Novice.

Schedule of Events (ALL scheduling is subject to change, depending on judge availability and number of entries)

            8:00 – Round 1, Flight A (Humorous, Poetry, Entertainment, OID, Persuasive)

            8:15 – Extemp Draw, Round 1

            9:15 – Round 1, Flight B (Extemporaneous, Serious, Informative, Duet Acting)

            10:30 – Round 2, Flight A

            10:45 – Extemp Draw, Round 2

            11:45 – Round 2, Flight B

            1:00 – Round 3, Flight A

            1:15 – Extemp Draw, Round 3

            2:15 – Round 3, Flight B

            3:45 – Awards – Will do virtually – method TBD (will email closer to meet date)

NOTE: Extemp is subject to change.  We are looking at pre-recorded options and have yet to determine a preference for that or live, synchronous extemp, via ZOOM or something similar.
