WE WILL BE A VIRTUAL TOURNAMENT USING NSDA CAMPUS AS OUR PLATFORM.

My name is Manuel and I am the speech coach at Canton McKinley H.S. I don’t usually write to you asking for things, but…I would like you to come judge our 2020 Holiday Tournament.
Yes, it is time for the McKinley Speech Team's Holiday Speech Tournament. Ho ho ho!
The particulars:
Date: December 19, 2020
Place: Virtually from your cozy fireplaces and hearths
Events: Drama, Humor, Original, Declamation, POI, Duo Interp, Informative Congress, Domestic & International Extemp.

Fees: $5.00 per entry except for Duo. Duo is $10.00 Team Entry base fee: $5.00
Congress Legislation We will follow the OHSSL Docket.
Awards – TROPHIES TO EVENTS CHAMPIONS. MEDALS WILL GO TO EACH MEMBER OF EACH EVENT'S TOP 10 IN 2020. IT HAS BEEN A TOUGH YEAR AND WE WANT TO RECOGNIZE EACH MEMBER OF THE EVENT TOP TENS!!!!!
Sweepstakes mention to top schools.
Lunch: Lunch will be at your schools. We are virtual this year.
Judges:
IE
1 -5 Contestants = 1 Judge
6 - 10 = 2 Judges
11 - 15 = 3 Judges
Etc.(in increments of five).
Congress
One judge per 6 congress people.
DO NOT DROP JUDGES!!!!!!
Please inform your judges that this is a POWER ROUND tournament and that they should be available to judge this round.
Entries: Entries will be unlimited but we may have to ask schools to trim entries due to space. Your first four entries will be protected from hitting each other.
Time Schedule: Please note the Time Schedule. We are starting early so we can get Round 1 going by 9:00 a.m.
Registration:
7: 45 - 8: 20
Extempers should report to the prep room. TBA .
8:30 - 8:40 -General Announcements. Brief as we have much to do!
8:45 - 8:55: Judges' Announcements.
9:00 - 10:30 Round 1
10:30 - 11:45 Round 2
11:45 - 1:00 Round 3
Lunch/snack break 1:00 - 1:30
1:45 - 3:15 Power Rounds
Awards: 4:00 or earlier! Our plan is to livestream on Facebook live and in our coaches room on NSDA Campus
