On behalf of TJC, we would like to extend a sincere invitation to you and your students to compete at our one-day open tournament entitled “Virtual Vision” on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
As the second half of the Fall TIFA Swing, we will be following all of the same rules and procedures using SpeechWire and Yaatly. We will offer all eleven AFA individual events and follow all AFA rules, including the new recommendations for virtual synchronous tournaments. Additional competition rules/guidelines: -Semis will be held if over 35 entries in an event. -Appropriate awards will be mailed out to winners the week after the tournament. All finalists will receive recognition. -Students may triple enter within a pattern of individual events but are responsible for making it to every round that they are scheduled for. Students who are triple-entered and fail to make it to a scheduled round will not be allowed to make up the competition. -We will not hold final rounds in events with fewer than nine (9) competitors. Two rounds will be held with a total of three judges. Fee breaks are available for programs who have had recent budget cuts or freezes.
