General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Colorado. View manager contact information Welcome to the First Ever Colorado Dash (for Nats) Online! This is a labor of love for our students and is coming together as quickly as possible thanks to the Rocky Mountain South NSDA District, Mullen High School, Ben Stewart of Speechwire, and several coaches who have already offered input or expressed interest in the tournament.

We are now up to Seventeen teams for Colorado's first online tournament. Our Thanks to the good folks at Mount Vernon Academy in Washington State for joining us to round out our World Schools and Congress competition! With the registration deadline approaching tomorrow and our numbers nearly final, I wanted to update everyone on key details. I will be rewriting the General Information page accordingly.
1. I MUST HAVE Gmail e-mail addresses for EVERY STUDENT AND JUDGE ASAP! Without those e-mail addresses, we cannot schedule rounds. It's that simple.
1a. The e-mail addresses you can use to send your lists to me are included at the end of this message!
2. We had too few entries in some events. So our one Poet was combined with DI; IX and NX are combined; and Duo, POI, and CX were removed (they had 1 entry max).
2a. We will have both National and International topics in Combined Extemp so our students can pick topics from the appropriate category based on their original entry.
2b. As mentioned earlier, there will be NO Extemp Prep Room - topics will be e-mailed and students are on their honor.
3. We will have Round Zero (Thursday) and THREE Rounds of competition in ALL Events (Saturday).
3a. A Fourth Round in PF and LD may be necessary if we have an odd number of teams. This will allow us to run a round robin, if needed, in those debate events.
4. Round Zero is set to happen Thursday from 5:45 to 8:00 pm, MST. EVERYONE MUST PARTICIPATE IN ROUND ZERO - JUDGES INCLUDED! This is our tech check.
4a. There is no registration on Tournament Day. Participation in Round Zero officially registers all students for competition.
5. ALL Judges will receive ballots via Speechwire and Round Invites via Google Calendar.
6. ALL Students will receive Round Invites via Google Calendar.
7. Students in Prepped IEs (DI, HI, OO, INFO) must submit a video of their performance by the end of the day on June 2nd.
7a. Videos may be submitted by e-mail or shared via Google Drive.
7b. Students and Judges in prepped events will be given access to all competitors videos in the G-Mail Calendar Invite for each round.
7c. Students in prepped events are NOT required to sit through each round.
8. Judges will receive instructions on e-ballots as soon as I have all of their e-mails!!! :)
9. We will host a VIRTUAL TABROOM throughout the tournament. This will be where you come for technical support. All Coaches and Judges will receive an invite to access the tabroom.
10. I can also be contacted at 303-981-5320 if you cannot connect to the tabroom.
11. We will Announce Tournament Champions and Runners-Up at the Awards Livestream on Saturday at 4 pm, MST. All coaches, judges, and competitors will be invited to watch!
12. Please remember to you the very small entry fee(s) we are charging. You can send checks to the address listed on our General Information page. It should also be on the invoice.
