Tournament Updates

Friday, January 17, 2025: Registration + Payment

Hello everyone,

James Grey here. I lied. One last update.

Registration is both at the HS and the MS. You only need to register/check-in at one school.

Entrance to the high school is the set of three doors across from the parking lot. I would drop students off there. When you enter in, follow the hallway to the rotunda and you should see the registration table.

For the middle school, the entrance is the front entrance, not any side entrances. Students may be dropped off there and parking is on the side of the building. Registration should be noticeable right as you enter in.

And we can take payments tomorrow but we will also accept payment by mail after the tournament.

Thank you for your patience. We look forward to a great tournament! Let the games begin.

Thursday, January 16, 2025: Final Update + Judge Info

1. The waitlist has been cleared. We were able to admit most entries! Yay!

2. The debate rounds are now SINGLE-FLIGHTED!

3. That said, speech (including Congress) is at the high school and debate is at the middle school, just to clarify.

4. N - LD and JV - LD have been collapsed to JV - LD!

5. N - Parli, JV-Parli, and V-Parli have been collapsed to Parli!

6. There's been some issues regarding triple-entering and entering speech and debate categories at once. I'd just like to remind everyone that for this tournament, as part of the NJSDL, you cannot enter your students into more than two speech categories and you cannot enter students into speech and debate at the same time. We've taken care of anyone who wasn't within the rules, but just so you know!

See you soon!
