Limited Prep Procedures

Extemp

Students participating in Extemp should go to the Extemp Prep room before going to any other event; Extemp Prep should begin promptly. 

Round 1 is US Political

Round 2 is International Hotspots

Final Round is US Economic

Impromptu

Judges judges will be emailed Impromptu Quotations when ballots are released 30 minutes prior to the round that they can share with the students immediately preceding their prep time. There will be 2 quotations per round, and students will choose one to speak on.

Judges, please note that students who have not spoken should not be present while other competitors are speaking so they cannot plan for the speech prior to their prep time. Please send those students into the Zoom lobby to wait for their turn to speak.
