East Central Conference Forensic Tournament

January 19th, 2018

Dear Forensic Coaches of the East Central Conference,

According to the rotation schedule, Berlin will be hosting the conference forensic tournament this school year. The date for the tournament will be Monday, February 12th. Registration will be due by 12:00pm on Friday, February 9th, 2018.

Additionally, conference guidelines state “the performance will be judged based on WHSFA rules with allowances made for students that compete under WFCA rules”.  Also, head coaches will meet during the first round to discuss the bylaws and other information that may arise, so please plan your judges accordingly. Please bring any suggestions for changes to the meeting.

I am enclosing the guidelines for the conference tournament. This will give you all the details for the tournament (time, cost, etc.). I have also attached details for entry, registration fees, judging expectations, etc. I know some of you are traveling a good distance to attend and getting judges to travel the distance might be hard. I do have a good pool of judges I can hire if you need one. Please let me know as soon as possible if you need me to hire a judge for you. Also please make sure your judges are “clean”. With such a small tournament there might be a chance your judge will be judging students from your school.

Mark your calendars for Monday, February 12th, 2018 for the East Central Conference competition here in Berlin. If you are no longer the head coach at your school, if you could pass this along to them, it would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t wait to see everyone!

Sincerely,

Nicole King & Beth Paskey
