Greetings,
Antioch welcomes you to our Northern Classic Tournament on December 10, 2016.
We understand that in years past there have been a number of varsity options on this weekend.
This year holds less choices and there have been a number of schools looking for a location to head too.
We are excited to host and help out the community.
Please join us for the Northern Classic, at Antioch Community High School, on December 10th, 2016.
Competition will be held in fourteen individual events.
DDA, DI, EX, HDA, HI, IMP, INFO, OD, OC, OO, PO, PR, RS, SOS.
We will have three rounds and finals.
1 qualified judge per 6 entries (if incremental, please round up).
Radio: Students will prep the night before and use the same script for all three rounds.
Extemporaneous Speaking: Students will prep at the tournament for Rounds 1 and 2; they can use either prepped topic in Round 3. There will be prep for Finals.
Time: There will be no official penalty for time (except in Radio). Judges may individually consider time as part of the criteria for ranking.
Entry fee: based on number of entries, not on full teams
1-14 entries $100.00
15-28 entries $150.00
29-42 entries $175.00
If you would like to attend the Northern Classic Tournament, your entry must be registered on SpeechWire by December 5, 2016.
