SNAFU #3 at Seton Hall University
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a College tournament in New Jersey. View manager contact information
The Southern and Northern Atlantic Forensic Union cordially invite you and your students to attend the SNAFU #3 Swing, October 29/30, 2016. Both tournaments will take place in South Orange, New Jersey on the campus of Seton Hall University. We will offer all 11 AFA events at both halves of the swing, as well as Parliamentary Debate on Sunday. What follows is information that should make your trip to the swing easier to plan:
Offering Novice Breakout Rounds: the first three SNAFU Tournaments will offer breakout rounds in one event for novice competitors not advancing to the final round, this round will not count toward team or individual sweepstakes but is offered to give novices additional experience in a final round situation.
Membership fees: $300.00, the uncovered slots will remain the same. SNAFU hasn't increased the membership fees since the beginning of the organization and the board felt like it was time to make the increase so we could continue making the impact on the forensic community in the form of well run tournaments and scholarships at the end of the season.
Sweepstakes points: we will follow the awarding of sweepstakes points laid out by the AFA-NIET. 6 points for 1st place, 5 points for 2nd place, 4 points for 3rd place, 3 points for 4th place, 2 points for 5th place, 1 point for 6th place and any remaining place after that
