Dear Speech Coach,

We are pleased to invite your team to the STMA Knights Invitational on Saturday, February 13th, 2016, at St. Michael-Albertville High School.

Date: Saturday, February 13, 2016

Events: All MSHSL events, Impromptu, and Program Oral Interpretation. All sections will have 10 minute time limits with draws at 7. We will be asking judges to time and politely cut students off if they go more than 30 seconds past the time limit to help keep the tournament moving.

Discussion: Tasks will be distributed in-round and will come from Section II. Young Adult/College. Discussion will be offset on the schedule to allow for double entry.

Draws: Extemp Reading will have odd numbered stories and Poetry 1-24. Storytelling will have stories 1-10.

Fees: $6.50 per entry (Duo is per pair). Participants may double enter, but we request no triple entries, two entries in draw categories or discussion and draw category double entries.

Judges: One per 6 entries or fraction thereof. This is a change from the original posting because of common practice at other tournaments this year. Preference of events is available during registration.

Registration: Please register both competitors and judges on Speechwire.com no later than Friday, February 12th, at 4:00 pm. Drops after this date will not lower your registration fee. Adds after this date will still increase your registration fee. Day of drops and adds depending on space can be done on your smartphone prior to arrival if possible. Registration will be cut off at 600 entries because of space restrictions. Please register early to assure there will be space for all of your entries.

Concessions: There will be food available in the concession stand near the cafeteria.

Schedule: Times are approximate and subject to change as the day goes on. We will be site scheduling.

Judges and coaches will have lunch served in the lounge.
