Howdy Dallas Urban Debate coaches and welcome back to the school year!
We are happy to invite Dallas Urban Debate High Schools to the High School Workshop & Scrimmage on January 16th at Dade Middle School.
TIME: 9:00am-3:00pm
STRUCTURE: we will split students into 2 groups. All students will participate in 1 workshop sessions and 1 debate. Assuming our judge commitments are met we will have a coaches meeting.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: is Monday, January 11th. Contact us if you have extenuating circumstances. Please note there is a 6 team cap. Any additional teams registered will be automatically placed on the waitlist.
JUDGES: As always, we appreciate volunteer judges. Judges earn points for your school towards a sweepstakes award.
-We will gladly welcome Varsity debaters and JV debaters who are not competing as volunteer judges.
-If you are bringing an inexperienced judge, we ask that you make our judge training resources available to them in advance so judge training can be as effective as possible.
