You are invited to attend the YSU Tournament on Saturday, January 24, 2015, hosted on the campus of Youngstown State University.

The following competition will be offered:
Individual Events:   3 Prelim Rounds ... possibly over 4 time-slots, depending on the number of entries.
LD / PF Debate:   4 Prelim Rounds  (January NFL Topics)
Congressional Debate:  Preliminary Competition followed by a Super Session  (OHSSL Legislation for January 24).

We encourage you to register ASAP.
Since this is a new tournament, having an idea of numbers sooner rather than later would be helpful.
The registration deadline for competitors is Monday, January 19, 2015 at 4:00 PM.
The registration deadline for judges is Friday, January 23, 2015 at 8:00 PM.

However, efforts to register ASAP (or by the first week of January) would be highly appreciated!
No penalties will be given for dropped competitors before Monday, January 20.

Registration Fees will be $3.50 per student (Duo and PF are $7.00 / entry) as is customary in Youngstown.

Judging Requirements.
In IE, one judge is required for every 5 entries.  Thus:
1 - 5 entries = 1 Judge
6 - 10 entires = 2 Judges
11 - 15 entries = 3 Judges

... etc.

In LD/PF, one judge is required for every 2 entries.  Thus:
1-2 entries = 1 Judge
3-4 entries = 2 Judges
5-6 entries = 3 Judges
... etc.

In Congress, one judge is required per school that has entries.

Additional Information regarding Tournament Logistics will be communicated by the end of December.
Essentially, the "commons" area will be Kilcawley Center.  Openings and Closings will be held in the Chestnut Room.  Competition will be in a vareity of buildings on campus; however, categories will remain in the same building throughout the day.  (That way, if the weather is less than ideal, walking around campus will be kept to a minimum.)

YSU will have the food vendors in Kilcawley Center open on that Saturday; there will be a variety of choices for students.
