I am excited to invite you to this year's District 211 JV/Novice Turkey Tournament on November 22. 

 

Conant High School and Schaumburg High School will be co-hosting the annual D211 Turkey Tournament on Saturday, November 22, 2014.  The tournament will be held in both schools.  Varsity teams will compete at Conant – 3 preliminary rounds and a finals round.   Novice and JV teams will compete at Schaumburg – Novice & JV together in 3 rounds with no final rounds. 

 

Fees for JV/Novice

up to 28 entries  $150

 

Extra Entries: Unfortunately, at this time we cannot allow more than 28 entries. We are capped regarding space in the school. If I see a large number of drops as we get closer to the tournament, I will send an update that we have some room for extra entries, but based on the preliminary numbers and room size, I doubt this will happen. 

 

Judges:

One judge per six entries.  

All judging assignments must be covered based on your preliminary entries, regardless of drops.

 

Radio -  Prep at Home for all three rounds. News should be no older than 24 hours. 

Extemp - Prep on site for Round I and use that speech for all three rounds.
