Greetings,

Your team is invited to participate at the Robbindale Birds of Prey tourament.  All 13 MSHSL categories will be used.  Final round will have seven participants.  We have approximately 70 competetion rooms so we have set some entry limits to ensure things don't get out of control.  We have set a cap of 40 entries per event and 60 per school.  If you run into any issues please reach out to me.  We want to allow as many schools as we can into the tournament.

Format:  Three rounds and finals.  First round begins at 9:00 a.m.  Awards ceremony tentatively scheduled for 3:45 p.m.  Ext. Speaking, Ext. Reading, and Storytelling will have 30 minute prep, students draw all three rounds.   We will use all 13 MSHSL categories and follow both MSHSL and NFL rules.  Double entries are allowed.

Registration:  We will open registration at 7:00 AM and close at 8:15.  We are site scheduling so please make in changes in your roster via smartphone/tablet from the bus. 

Minnesota State High School League Event Info:
Extemp. Reading Prose Stories 1-10 (students can repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)
Extemp. Reading Poems 1-20 (students can repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)
Storytelling Stories 1-10 (students can repeat a story from their preliminary rounds in finals)

Judges:  Please bring one judge for every seven (7) entries or fraction thereof.  Please make every effort to provide the required number of judges based on your entries prior to drops.

Concessions:  We will have a variety of concessions available throughout the tournament.
