WELCOME!

The National Individual Events Tournament of Champions Executive Committee is pleased to invite you to its fifth annual national tournament May 9-11, 2014, on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.

We are looking forward to presenting students and coaches with a challenging and highly rewarding tournament experience. We are offering Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Original Oratory and Duet Acting as our Main Events. Prose, Poetry and Expository Speaking will be featured as Supplemental Events. We will also provide coaching workshops, networking opportunities and college scholarships. This year, each of the eight Main and Supplemental Champions will receive a $16,000 scholarship toward attending Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota.

Entry Limits:

A) Students may enter two of the main events:  Oratory, Humor, Drama, Duo, Duet Acting. To confirm bid status, please check http://nietoc.com/ntcform/Public_list.asp

Don’t forget that all 2013 quarterfinalists in the main events earned one bid, and that semifinalists or finalists in the main events at the 2013 NIETOC, NFL or NCFL tournaments are automatically qualified for our 2014 tournament. You may simply enter that information on their applications.

B) Students may also pre-register for two of the supplemental events:  Expository, Poetry & Prose. If they do not advance to quarterfinals in their main event(s), they may re-register, at the tournament, for supplemental events. Supplemental Events must be registered prior to the start of the tournament and all fees are non-refundable, regardless of participation in the event.

ALL ENTRIES WILL INITIALLY BE ON THE WAITING LIST UNTIL VERIFICATION OF RESULTS IS CONFIRMED AND ACCEPTANCE IS GRANTED.

After completing online registration, please be sure to print all vital paperwork (Permission Form, Publicity Form, Press Release) which can be found under the "Files for Download" button. Be sure to mail these forms with the appropriate payment by the registration deadlines.

We are also accepting nominations for the Mrs. Dukes Teacher of the year. You will find information and application here -- http://nietoc.com/teacher-Nomination.asp

If you have any questions, please go to www.nietoc.com or email us at info@nietoc.com. We look forward to hosting you at The Experience!
