Carroll Debate Meet 26 October 2013
Coaches,
You and your team are invited to compete at the Carroll Debate Meet to be held on October 26, 2013. All registrations will be through SpeechWire.com with all entries submitted by 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23rd.
REGISTRATION will take place from 7:30 - 8:45 a.m.
EVENT SCHEDULE Round 1 Round 2 Round 3 Round 4 Varsity PF and LD 9 a.m. 10:30 Noon 1:30 p.m. Novice PF and LD 9:45 a.m. 11:15 12:45 p.m. 2:15

CONGRESS: B/R 2, 9, 10, and 13
JUDGES: One judge for every four debaters (or fraction thereof) is expected. You may have a non-competing varsity debater serve as a judge in a novice event. Please make sure that your judges are aware of the need to provide explanations on the ballots. Please email me the names of any students interested in being a presiding officer.
FOOD will be available for purchase in the cafeteria. Complimentary food for judges, coaches, and bus drivers will be available in the judges’ lounge. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BUILDING FOR LUNCH OR ANY OTHER REASON.

NOTE: Carroll will also be hosting a novice-only speech meet at the same time as the debate meet. The debate meet will be held in the high school while the speech meet will be held primarily at the freshman campus located at the west end of the building. Please check the IHSFA calendar and SpeechWire for info regarding the novice-only speech meet. If you have entries for the debate meet AND the novice-speech meet, your judges may not overlap. They will judge one meet or the other but not both and need to be entered as such.
