Auburn Creative and Performing Arts High School Speech Team enthusiastically invites you to their inaugural Top of the State Tournament on January 26.

The tournament will offer three rounds of preliminary competition in all fourteen IHSA events. There will also be competition in Improvised Duet Acting and Original Poetry Interpretation.

There will be three preparations for Radio and Extemp. Varsity and Novice finals will be held.

Awards will be given to finalists in each event. Sweepstakes awards will be given to the top five schools in Varsity and the top three in Novice.

Top ten outstanding speaker students will be awarded medallions. A student may enter up to three events.

Each team may bring three entries per event for $125.00. A team may bring up to five per event, the additional fee for extra entries will be $75.00.

A team must bring one judge per six entries, a maximum of six judges.

The tournament will start with registration at 7:00 am, first round prep 7:45 am and round one at 8:30 am.
