Welcome to the Blackduck Junior High Speech Tournament! Please update your registration online and bring assigned speaker fees with you when you check in on February 6th.  Please note the time change for an earlier tournament and earlier return home for your students.  Busses may park and drop students off at the west or south entrances to the school at 156 First Street in Blackduck.  Enter through door #1 or #3.  Commons and concessions will be available for speakers and a judges/coaches' lounge for you and your student judges.  For preparation purposes, please note that storytellers will draw from the first 8 stories on the list with draws for rounds one and two only.  For round three they will choose one of their previously told stories.  Extemp Readers will draw from the first 20 poems listed and the first 9 stories listed on the MSHSL website.  NO DOUBLE ENTERING.  Speaker registration s $2.50 per speaker, provide judges at a 1:6 ratio, make checks payable to Blackduck Speech Boosters.  Jennifer Parker BHS Head Coach
