We would like to invite you to the 4th Annual Bolingbrook High School “Tournament of Dreams” to be held on Saturday, January 21st 2012. All novice and varsity members of your teams are welcome to compete. Please respond early as possible so that we may get an idea of space, rooms, and lunches needed. • Each school will be allowed to bring a maximum of 4 entries per event; students may be double and triple entered. • Three rounds with finals will be held. • Individual awards will be given to the top six finishers in each event. • Radio speakers will prep once for the preliminary rounds and then again for finals. • Extemporaneous speakers will prep once for the preliminary rounds and then again for finals. • Impromptu will be run according to the state rules with 2 minutes for prep and 6 for speaking. Prep will be in the room with the judge. • All fourteen IHSA, including Informative Speaking, will be offered along with PIR if we have at least five teams interested. • Each school should provide one judge for each five entries • The entry fee is $150.00 per team up to (3) in each event. Any team with entries over 3 in any event will need to bring $175.00 Any teams with PIR will need to bring an additional $25 with their entries and notify me via email as soon as possible. franks-tapleyd@vvsd.org All entries and numbers should be in and updated by 5pm Thursday January 19th, 2012 All Checks should be made payable to Bolingbrook High School Speech Team All busses should drop of students they day of the tournament to cafeteria at Door #27 (the entrance off of Schmidt Ave.) Please feel free to call me for any additional information and questions.(630) 679-3521 or my cell at (708) 925-4382.
