Welcome to the first Dallas UDA Tournament of 2011-2012 School year. We will host three divisions and have a Middle School training session.

HS Tournament

7:45am – 8:30am Registration

8am – 8:30am Judge Training

8:30am – Round 1 JV/Varsity

8:45am – Round 1 Novice

10:30am Round 2 – Novice, JV, Varsity

Noon – 1:15pm – Lunch and survey

1:15pm – Round 3 – JV, Varsity, Novice

3pm – Round 4 – JV, Varsity, Novice

5:30 pm Awards

MIDDLE SCHOOL

11am – 11:30am Registration for Middle School

11:30am – 12pm Overview of training

noon – 1pm lunch

1pm –  2pm – Session 1

2pm – 3pm – session 2

3pm – welcome to stay to watch a debate.

To review:
novice students are in their first year of policy debate.
JV students are in their second year of policy debate.
Varsity students are in their third (or more) year of debate.

Although students may move up a division (second year debaters can debate varsity), they can not move down a division (third year debaters may not debate JV).
