Minnewaska Area Schools 7-12 Speech Tournament

Saturday, February 2nd

Dear Speech Coaches,

The Minnewaska Area speech team would like to invite you to a 7-12 tournament on Saturday, February 2nd at Minnewaska Area High School. This competition is for Junior and Senior high team members, in all 13 categories. Awards will be three team trophies, first through sixth ribbons/pins.

Cost will be $5.00 per entry with double entries allowed. Please make your checks out to Minnewaska Area Schools. Please provide one judge per every six entries. Discussion will be delayed 10 minutes to allow for double entry.

Schedule:

8:00- 8:30 am Registration-By district office

8:30 am Draws begin for round I; media center

8:40 am Judges meeting

9 am Round I

10 am Draws for round II; media center

10:30 am Round II

11:30 am Draws for round III; media center

12:00 pm Round III

2 pm Awards in the Main Gym

Registration deadline will be Friday, January 25th. Drop/Add deadline will be Friday, February 1st. Please send your registrations via speechwire.com and direct any questions at clence@isd2149.org. If you do not hear from me I can be reached at 320-239-4800 ext. 1002, or at 320-491-6499.

Food will be available for the students to purchase at the concessions stand, and there will be food provided for judges and coaches in the judges’ room.
