The TMB (Tracy-Milroy-Balaton) Panthers invite your team to the 2019 Jr Hi Panther Invitational.  This is a junior high meet. All students in grades 6-9 are eligible to compete in all 13 Minnesota State High School League categories.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Sunday, February 10

Drop/Add Deadline: Monday, February 11 -- Use SpeechWire for drops and adds. After Monday, please e-mail, call, or text Alicia to let her know of drops. 

Location: Tracy Area High School, Tracy MN

Schedule:     3:15-3:30........... Registration     (3:30……Draws for Round 1)

                        4:00..................... Round 1         (4:45……Draws for Round 2)

                        5:15...................... Round 2         

                        6:30..................... Round 3         (use previous draw for Round 3)

                        8:15...................... Awards

Registration: The tournament is open to students in grades 6 through 9. You must register by Sunday, February 10. Please do not arrive in advance of 3:15 to allow TMB busses and students to clear out.  Drops and adds are allowed up until the time your bus gets on the road! There is no penalty! We need you to enter your drops and adds on SpeechWire for this “late drop/add courtesy” to work. Please notify Alicia that you are doing so in order to have an as accurate (as possible) first round.

Draws: Extemp Reading & Storytelling draws will be from the first ten selections. Extemp Reading will be Prose only. Extemp Speaking draws will be limited to Domestic topics. 

Judges:  You must provide one judge for every six students you register. 

Awards:  We will have awards for place winners from 1^st through 6^th place. 

Concessions:  Various food and drink items, ranging from pizza, BBQ’s, bars, candy, soda, and water will be available in the cafeteria, where students can set up camp. Please do not let them bring food or soda into the gymnasium. 

Fees:  Entry fees are $7.00 per contestant and $14.00 per duo.  Please make checks payable to Tracy Speech. Fees will be received at the registration table.
