Kenston's tournament will offer all OSDA high school and middle school events on its campus in Bainbridge Township, Ohio (which is next to Solon and Chagrin Falls).  We will offer unlimited entries in HS & MS Big Questions Debate and Congressional Debate.  If you have more than four entries in any other event, please enter them on the wait list, and they will be admitted depending on room.  Speech double entries are permitted except for extemp.    Registration will be held from 7:45-8:15am.  Extemp prep and policy debate will begin at 8:30am.

Congress results will be based on judge's preference.  High School Congress will use the Dec. 15 OSDA docket.  Middle School Congress will use the following six pieces of legislation from the OSDA Middle School docket:  3-7 and 16.  LD and HS & MS PF will use the Nov/Dec NSDA topics.  We are currently planning to hold four rounds of debate (except for three rounds in policy), but if room and time permit we will add an additional round.   For high school Big Questions debate, please enter two-person teams if at all possible.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three in each event, both for HS and MS.  Ribbons will be awarded to fourth-sixth place.  A variety of lunch options will be offered to students.  Please bring small bills.  Please do not bring your own food because this tournament is one of our major fundraisers.

Cut-off for drops is Wednesday, December 12 at 5pm.  You are responsible for paying the entry fee for any drops after this deadline.  Judge requirements: 1 judge for every 1-5 speech, 1-8 congress, and 1-2 debate entries.

We will be using two schools:  Kenston High School and Kenston Middle School.  We will let you know in advance which events are being held at which school.  Your buses will be responsible for dropping your kids off at each school and transporting them to the High School at the end of the day for awards.  Please make checks payable to Kenston Board of Education.
