Your team is cordially invited to the New Richmond High School Forensics Tournament at New Richmond Senior High School on Saturday, February 24, 2018. We will be using the WHFSA rules in all sixteen categories.

 

All categories will follow WHSFA rules, which can be found at: http://whsfa.org.

 

Entries: A student may enter no more than two individual events. A school may register as many entries as they like, but only the top placing 25 students for each school will count towards sweepstakes. If there are changes after this date, please update them on Speechwire. Registration fees will be $7 for each individual entry and $12 for each group entry. The sign-up deadline will be Sunday, February 18 at 11:59pm.

 

Judges: Each school must provide one judge for every six entries. Hired judges are available for $75. You will be charged $75 to cover your uncovered entries.

 

Awards: Individual awards will be awarded to first through fifth place in each category. There will be sweepstakes trophies awarded based on team performance.

 

Concessions: Concessions will be available in the commons area. Our Academic Decathlon team will again be selling pizza for interested parties.

7:30 – 8:30 Registration (lobby)

8:30 Radio and Extemporaneous speakers draw in library

9:00 Round I

10:30 Round II (Radio/Extemp begin drawing at 10:00)

12:00 Round III (Radio/Extemp begin drawing at 11:30)

2:00 AWARDS – Auditorium
