Hello!
Welcome to the Melrose Area High School Speech Invitational sponsored by Minnesota Credit Union at Melrose High School.
Date: Saturday March 25, 2017
Format: Three rounds and a final in all thirteen MSHSL events.
Fees: $6.00 per entry (duo counts as one). Participants may double enter. Checks can be made out to Melrose High School and mailed to 546 5th Avenue NE, Melrose, MN 56352.
Judges: Please bring one qualified judge per every 6 participants or fraction thereof. Preference of events is available during registration.
Registration: Please register both competitors and judges on Speechwire.com by Monday March 20 at 4:00 pm. Drops after March 22 will not lower your registration fee. Please enter any drops or adds the morning of the tournament on a smartphone on the bus on the way to the tournament.
Awards: Individual awards will be awarded to the top seven finalists in each category. Team trophies will also be given.
Food: A concession stand will be open in the high school commons area for the students. Breakfast, lunch, and treats will be provided for coaches and judges in the Judges' Lounge.
