Beavercreek Phoenix Invitational

Beavercreek Phoenix Speech and Debate is excited to invite your team to our annual forensics tournament on a new date! More information to come, but here are some key details:

We will be offering all OHSSL events (except Policy Debate) with 4 rounds in IE, 5 rounds of competition in LD and PF Debate, and at least 4 hours of Congressional Debate.

We strongly believe in the value of learning many skill sets, so we are happy to encourage double entry! Double entry rules: DE is for IE only (sorry debate). No cross-entry between both extemps. Both entries for a student can be in Duo, but they must be with a different partner. We are not categorically opposed to TE either, but please contact us first before entering a student in 3 events.

We welcome all our friends from in and out of our district. We all know the trouble with long distance tournaments. To help our long distance friends we will be using a delayed start. That is, extemp prep will begin at 9:30 a.m. to allow our northern friends to save some money by making it down the morning of. (If you need hotel information, please contact us as well for a list of conveniently located lodging.) Please email us if there is anything else we can do to make a long distance trip to our fair city even a little easier.

In accordance with OHSSL BQS rules, no mavericks will be permitted to compete in PF debate.
