Dear Coaches:

Waupaca High School would like to invite you to ou annual Footluce Forensic Tournament on Saturday, March 18th. This is just two weeks prior to the WFCA State Tournamnet on April 1st.

ENTRIES & AWARDS:  Each school may enter up to 25 entries per team.  No more than four entries per category will count for sweepstakes but additional entries are welcome.  Trophies will be awarded to the top 4 large schools and the top three individuals in each event.  All finalists not receiving a trophy will receive a medal.  Two small team awards will be given to the teams with no fewer than 5 nor more than 12 entries and two medium team awards (13-18 entries) which have the best team average determined by the morining's registration. 

EVENTS: We will offer competition in NCFL's Oratorical Declamation and offer Impromptu Speaking as a main event.  We will permit DOUBLE and TRIPLE entries awarding a DOUBLE and TRIPLE CROWN to the students who are double or triple entered and earn the most points.  Students may not double enter in both radio and extemp.

RULES:  Rules will be those stated inthe WFCA (www.wfcaforensics.org) handbook except for Oratorical Declamation.  NCFL rules will be used in this category. Rules for this category can be found at www.ncfl.org.

FEES: The cost is $9.00 per individual entry and $12.00 per group entry.

JUDGES: Each school must bring 1 judge for every 5 entries to a maximum of 10 judges.  If you must hire a judge from us the cost is $100.  Make sure that you bring the number of judges as stated on your original registration, even if you have drops. All judges should be available for power rounds. Head coaches must make sure that all judges are briefed in rules and judging etiquette.

REGISTRATION  Registration will be from 7:30-8:15am at the high school.  The confimraiton will include a number to use for drops the morning of the tournament.  Schedules will be run the morning of the tournament; therefore it is mandatory for you to call in drops prior to 7:30am the morning of the tournament.  Please view the "Time Schedule" tab to see round times for the day.
