Congressional Debate

Judges

Any school that enters students into Congressional Debate  must provide one judge for the entire tournament that is qualified to judge Congress.  An additional judge will be required for schools sending more than twelve (12) students to the Laird Lewis Invitational.  

Prelim Legislation

Legislation for the 2014 Preliminary Session of Congress will be compiled from submitted bills and resolutions by attending schools.  Each school may send in two (2) pieces of legislations per twelve (12) students entered. Legislation (properly formatted in Word) must be emailed to a.west@cms.k12.nc.us.com by December 3, 2013.  Legislation will be available on the Speechwire registration page by December 6,2013. . You will be able to download it from the main page under the FILES FOR DOWNLOAD tab.

Final Congress

For the Final Session of  Congressional Debate, a scenario will be used.  All updates for the scenario will be released on speechwire.com.
