Improv-Duo-Acting Information

Improvisational Duo Acting

This is just a fun category so no pressure.

Judging criteria:

• Is it funny?

• Are you entertained?

• How fast do they think on their feet?

• Unnecessary lude-ness? Last in round!

NO CRITIQUES TO WRITE JUST WATCH.

Rules:

Duos have to use the lines and put them in the scene.

1. Duo Partners will be handed a folded-up line.

2. They must NOT look at the line but hold the paper in their hand.

3. The Judge, Timer, or Announcer will read the scene that will be randomly drawn.

4. They have 3 minutes after the scene is read to perform.

They may discuss prior to starting but the timer starts after the scene is read.

5. During their improv duo they must at random incorporate the lines from their hand by opening them up and reading them on the spot.

6. At 2:30 please give a 30 second warning and duos must stop at 3:00.

NOTE: They may touch and look at each other!!!
