Delta Panther Invitational
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Colorado. View manager contact information You are invited to the Panther Invitational Forensics Tournament. Our team hopes to offer a competitive and fun tournament on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Delta High School. CHSAA rules will be followed; specifics are available in the current handbook. You can mail the check to Delta High School Speech Team, 1400 Pioneer Road, Delta, CO 81416. I prefer if you bring the check with you on the day of the tournament.
We will offer two waves of events over the course of the day. Competitors may enter one Wave A event and one Wave Event.
WAVE A Congressional Debate Combined Extemporaneous Speaking Original Oratory Interpretation of Dramatic Literature Interpretation of Humorous Literature Interpretation of Poetry
WAVE B Public Forum Debate Lincoln-Douglas Debate Programmed Oral Interpretation Informative Speaking Duo Interpretation Creative Storytelling
Registration will be on speechwire.com, and will be available on January 4th (estimate). The tournament entry fees will be $8.00 per competitor per event and $16.00 for team events. No refunds will be given after fees are set at 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 17th, 2019.
We will be providing a well stocked, reasonably priced concession stand. This is a team fundraiser, so please encourage your team to bring a few bucks and sample our delicious fare! Our speech team parents will feed coaches and judges.

Finals will be run in all events where time permits and where the size of the field necessitates additional adjudication.
7:30 pm Awards (earlier if possible)
· This schedule is tentative and has extra time built into it, so, if possible, we will move the times up. Be prepared for events to begin earlier than indicated here. That means do not leave. We have been ahead in the past and have had to look for people. · Congress competitors need to go to their chamber and wait for judges immediately after their prior wave’s event concludes.
