Hello All! We are super excited to be hosting at PLHS again for the Royal Invitational on November 10th, 2018. Hope all of you can make it! Please email Chris Wengert at cwengert@paplv.org if you have any questions or concerns!

I am pleased to announce that this tournament is an official NIETOC bid tournament. Students who qualify will earn a bid to the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions hosted here in Omaha, NE!

• We will be offering bids in DUO, OO, INF, DI, and HI

Format: Three rounds and finals (no finals for events with less than two sections)

Entries: All students may double enter (including extemp at their own risk) However, no triple entries please. We reserve the right to limit entries based on available space.

Events: Varsity: DUO(DUET), EXT, OO, INF, ENT, POE(POI), DI, HI

Novice: EXT, OO, INF, POE(POI), DI, HI

Fees: $7.00 per entry

Entry Deadline: Entries are due by 5:00 PM Wednesday, November 7th.

Judging: Coaches must provide one qualified judge for every 5 entries. If you need us to cover judges, please let me know by November 3rd. Schools can hire a portion of a judge for $10 per uncovered slot. (Examples: you have 18 entries and 3 judges. You need to cover 3 judges’ slots. You still owe $30.) You are not doing us a favor by paying us these extra fees! Please try to cover your judge slots!

Concessions: There will be concessions being sold throughout the competition. Pizza will be there for lunch!

Awards:

Single Varsity Events: Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and medals for 4th, 5th, and 6th.

Group Varsity Event: Trophies for 1st place and medals for 2nd -6th.

Novice Events: Trophies for 1st place and medals for 2nd-6th.

Ribbons will be included on all 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ballots in prelims. Team Sweepstakes Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place.

Arrival Information: There is parking in the South and North parking lots. We are located in the Auditorium where we will hold awards, postings, and will have the general hangout area. Your buses may park in our North parking lot by the tennis courts via Cary Street.
