Resolutions:

Public Forum - Resolved: The United States federal government should impose price controls on the pharmaceutical industry.

Lincoln-Douglas Debate - Resolved: In a democracy, the public’s right to know ought to be valued above the right to privacy of candidates for public office.

Student Congress: Student Congeess legislation should remember the following information in regards to submission:

• Congressional debate entries must be submitted no later than 5:00pm Wednesday, October 24th, 2018.

• A school that enters competitors in the Congress division is required to submit at least one piece of appropriately formatted legislation.
• Legislation is tied to the student and not the school. Thus, each competitor may submit one piece of legislation. No competitor may serve as the author of more than one piece of legislation. 
• Legislation must be submitted to Michelle Boswell at dogwoodlegislation@gmail.com no later than 5:00pm Wednesday, October 24th, 2018.
• Legislation will be posted no later than Monday, October 29th, 2018.
• In order to expedite the release of the legislation packet, the League has adopted templates. They can be found on the website.
