Maple Grove Senior High School would like to invite you to our fifth annual Crimson Speech Tournament on March 10th, 2018. We will be offering all 13 MSHSL categories, the NSDA event Program Oral Interpretation, and Impromptu. For Extemp Speaking, we will again be offering separate divisions for Domestic and International to help students prepare for NSDA National Qualifications! We will be observing NSDA and MSHSL rules. Double and triple entering will be allowed, but judges will be instructed to stick as close to their schedule as possible, so triple entered students should be conscious of the time when going from one event to another. Students are not blocked from double entering in draws (specifically for nat qual preparation), however, rounds will not be offset in order to accommodate and judges will be told not to wait around too long for late speakers, so double entry is at your own risk.

 

We will begin our first draws at 9:00 AM and the first round at 9:30 AM, we will be offering both regular and honors finals, and the Award Ceremony is scheduled for 4:30 PM. 

 

Students can purchase pizza, snacks, drinks, and treats at the concession stand. There will also be concessions and food in the judges/coaches lounge.
