Hello!
You and your students are cordially invited to the 2017 Westside Warrior Invitational Tournament to be held on Friday, January 12, 2018. Registration will be in the auditorium at Westside High School on Friday beginning at 3 p.m.
We will be running ten events with two rounds and finals. Round ribbons will be given out for the top three places in each section, and trophies and medals will be given for the top six places. If we have enough entries, we will include honors and champ finals.
We will once again be offering Duo Impromptu acting. (Students will compete with partner from their school this year)See below for more inforomation.
We are adding Program of Oral Interpretation (POI) as an event this season.
Pizza and other food will be served along with a fully-stocked judge's lounge. Please let your team know!

Entries Due by Wednesday, January 10th at 12:00PM. Drops will be accepted on Speechwire through Thursday evening.

INDIVIDUAL EVENTS INFORMATION
1. Students may enter two events.
2. We will offer competition in nine events.
Extemporaneous, Original Oratory, Duo Interpretation (NFL), Informative Speaking, Entertainment Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Poetry, POI, and Impromptu Duet Acting
Impromptu Duet: Two students entered as a pair compete together in this fun impromptu event. Together, they create a 5-7 minute duo interp based on a character, situation, and object.
Entry Fees
Individual Event entry: $7.00 per entry
Entries will only be accepted through Speechwire.com. All entries must be submitted by Tuesday, January 12.
Judges
We request that all judges be competent and experienced.
One judge per every five Individual Event entries.
$20.00 for each uncovered entry.
