The Denver Metro Novice Opener

 

 

Welcome, Denver East High School and Strive Prep - Smart would like to invite you to a wonderful novice tournament.  We are truly excited to host schools this year at Denver East High School!  We will offer three rounds of competition and then rewards.  The tournament is also proud to offer Creative Story Telling (CST).  Both Mr. Thomas and myself reflected last year that we would have been able to engage far more novice speech students if they would have had CST earlier in the year! So here it is!  Please encourage your students to double enter in this no prep event, that may engage their speaking ability and possible endure them to this crazy thing called speech & debate!  

 

Please bring your varsity team members to judge this tournament.  There will be a full concession stand for students.  For judges and coaches lunch and snacks will be provided free of charge.  Please come and join us for a wonderful day of rounds.

Round One All Events:  8:00 am

 

Congress Session 1: 9:00-10:30am

 

Round Two All Events:  10:00 am 

 

Congress Session 2: 12-1:30pm

 

Round Three All Events:  1:00 pm
