Hello Coaches,
Welcome to our FIRST EVER Bethany Christian (Mostly) Novice Debate Tournament!
We will offer Lincoln-Douglas, Public Forum, World Schools, and Congressional debate. There will be no policy debate.
There is no entry limit in any category but WSD. Please bring no more than two WSD teams.
Judge requirements: Please bring one judge for each two entries in Public Forum, one for each four entries in LD and Congress, and one for one or two WSD entries. Please remind them we are working with Novices, and would like positive and constructive criticism.
VARSITY COMPETITION IS AVAILABLE IN CONGRESS ONLY! All other events will allow only novice debaters.
Please note that ALL IHSFA rules will be in force for all debates.
First round begins at 8:00. My hope is to have us in awards by 3:30 at the latest.
Concessions will be available. Please come support our team!
Judges will be furnished food throughout the day.
Students with more than 200 NFL points and one full year of competition are welcome to judge in our novice divisions. Please remind them we are working with novices, and they would like positive and constructive criticism.
Entries are due by Tuesday 9 October 2017 at 5:30 p.m.

WSD PREPARED MOTIONS:
This house would ban the use of coal.
This house believes that further economic sanctions against North Korea are futile.
