Day of registration will run between 8:00 am and 8:30 am. Last minute changess should be texted to (252) 622-9238 if they are known prior to arrival.

Resolutions:

Public Forum - Resolved: The United States should require universal background checks for all gun sales and transfers of ownership.

Lincoln-Douglas Debate - Resolved: Wealthy nations have an obligation to provide development assistance to other nations. 

Student Congress: Student Congeess legislation should remember the following information in regards to submission:

• A school that enters competitors in the Congress division is required to submit at least one piece of appropriately formatted legislation.
• Legislation is tied to the student and not the school. Thus, each competitor may submit one piece of legislation. No competitor may serve as the author of more than one piece of legislation. 
• Legislation must be submitted to Michelle Boswell at dogwoodlegislation@gmail.com no later than noon Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
• Legislation will be posted no later than Monday, November 6th, 2017.
• In order to expedite the release of the legislation packet, the League has adopted templates. They can be found on the website.
