Dear Speech Coach, We want to welcome you once again to our annual tournament. We hope to see your team in attendance! Registration Deadline: Wednesday, March 15 by 4:00 on speechwire.com. Your invoice will reflect your entries at this time, with adds past this date being additional. Speecwire will remain open until Saturday morning to make any last minute changes. Please make changes online Saturday morning by 7:45AM. If this is not possible, please text me ASAP with any drop/adds. 507-420-4084. Categories and Format: Three rounds and Varsity finals in all thirteen MSHSL speech events. Novice finals will be held in all categories with qualifying numbers to do so. Draws: Storytellers, Ex Speakers and Ex Readers will draw for Round 1, 2 & 3. Finalists will have clean draw. Participants: There are an unlimited number of entries per category! Double entering is allowed in all categories but Discussion. There will be both Varsity AND Novice divisions. You may mark all 7-9 grade students as Novice. Any student NEW to Speech in grades 10-12 may also be marked as Novice. Fees: $6.25 per entry ($12.50 per duo). Judges: Please provide one judge for every 6 participants or fraction thereof. Awards: 1st – 3rd place will receive medals, 4th – 7th will receive ribbons. Team trophies will be awarded to top three teams. Food: Concessions will be available for all participants. Lunch will be provided for all judges.
