Minnewaska Area Schools 7-12 Speech Invitational

Saturday, February 6th 

 

Dear Speech Coaches,

 

The Minnewaska Area speech team would like to invite you to a 7-12 invitational on Saturday, February 6th at Minnewaska Area High School. This competition is for Junior and Senior high team members, in all 13 categories. Awards will be three team trophies and first through sixth ribbons/pins

 

Cost will be $5.00 per entry with double entries allowed. Please make your checks out to Minnewaska Area Schools. Please provide one judge per every seven entries.

 

Schedule:  

8:00- 8:30 am Registration-By district office

8:30 am        Draws begin for round I; media center

8:40 am        Judges meeting

9:00 am          Round I 

10:00 am        Draws for round II; media center

10:30 am       Round II

11:30 am       Draws for round III; media center

12:00 pm       Round III

2:00 pm         Awards in the Main Gym

 

Registration deadline will be Friday, January 29th. Drop/Add deadline will be Wednesday, February 3rd, with no refunds after the 3rd. Food will be available for the students to purchase at the concessions stand, and there will be food provided for judges and coaches in the judges' room.
