SpeechWire Tournament Services - Forensics Tournament Software

Hello everyone,

We are looking forward to the 5th Lincoln Parliamentary Debate League Tournament of the 2016 -2017 season. The tournament will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Parkland College. Thank you so much to Brian Cafarelli, Nathan Stewart, and the Parkland team for hosting the fifth LPDL of the season!

The tournament schedule will change depending on the umber of entries. If there are 16 or less teams, we will follow the 4 rounds and a Gold/Silver/Bronze Round format. If there are more than 16 teams, we will have 6 rounds and an award ceremony. The tentative tournament schedule is as follows:

11:30 AM Registration

12:00 PM Round 1

1:10 PM Round 2

2:20 PM Round 3

3:30 PM Round 4

4:40 PM Round 5 OR Gold/Silver/Bronze Round

5:50 PM Round 6 OR Awards

Judges:

We appreciate schools making their best efforts to cover all of their slots. If your school covers all of your slots and you know someone who LPDL could hire for the tournament, please send me their contact information. We appreciate all of your help in ensuring the current and future success of LPDL.

Registration:

Registration for the tournament is due by 5:00pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Entries should be submitted to Speechwire at http://www.speechwire.com. Please note that you have to "RSVP" to the tournament before Speechwire will allow you to register teams.

Fees:

1. $50.00 yearly membership fees (due at the first tournament the school attends)

2. $10.00 for each covered team entered into the tournament (each judge covers 2 teams).

3. $50.00 for each uncovered team entered into the tournament.
