This is a High School tournament in Ohio.

We invite you to attend the East Liverpool Speech and Debate tournament. This is our first tournament and we are excited to bring forensics back to the Tri-state area

We will tentatively (entries permitting) offer the following competition:
Speech Events:   3 Rounds,  (OHSSL Speech Events Only)
LD / PF Debate:   4 Rounds
Congressional Debate:  Preliminary Competition and Finals

We will not be offering Policy Debate or Big Question Debate at this tournament.

Fees:

$3.50 per student ($7.00 for PF and Duo)

Registration Deadline is January 23rd at 5pm

Drop fee will be in effect after this time.

Judges:

Deadline- Friday, January 27th at 5pm

$30 missing Judge fee will be enforced.                   

1 judge for every 5 I.E. competitors

1 Judge for every 6 Congress entries

2 Judges if over 6 Congress entries.

1 judge per 2 L/D Debaters

1 judges for 2 PF Debaters

1 judges for 5 or 6 L/D Debaters

In I.E., a judge who just graduated from high school last year may NOT judge the event in which he/she competed. 

A parent or other close family relative should NOT judge the event in which the current competitor competes. 

Extemp:

Prep room is the Library/Student center on the 3rd floor. Outlets available are very limitied and on a first come, first serve basis. WiFi will be available, but is password protected. Password will be provided in the Extemp room on the day of event.
