We are thrilled to welcome you to the inaugural Steven Davis Invitational hosted at Ardrey Kell High School! We cordially invite you and your team to attend our tournament on Saturday, February 25, 2017.

 

Named for NSDA Hall of Fame Coach and founder of the Ardrey Kell Speech & Debate program Steven Davis, our tournament will offer a robust day of competition for students with four preliminary rounds and a Final round in all events. This year we are pleased to offer competition in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate, Congressional Debate, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Program Oral Interpretation, Original Oratory, Declamation, Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, and Informative Speaking. We are also pleased to announce that the Invitational will host this year's Carolina West District Congress!

 

In Debate events we will offer competition in Junior Varsity and Varsity categories. For all Debate events we will use the MARCH or MARCH/APRIL topics provided by the NSDA. Please view the full invitation packet for information on event rules and entry guidelines.
