Whether we are new to your tournament schedule or our friendship goes way back, Metea Valley is proud and thrilled to host the 8th Annual MVHS Mustang Speech Tournament.

The MVHS Speech Tournament will be run using three Preliminary Rounds and one Final Round, according to the following schedule. ES and RS will prep one time for Prelims and once upon reaching Finals.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

7:00 am - REGISTRATION

7:45 - ES and RS Prep (LMC)

8:30- Prelim Round 1 (ALL EVENTS)

10:00 - Prelim Round 2 (ALL EVENTS)

11:30 - Prelim Round 3 (ALL EVENTS)

1:15 pm  - ES and RS Finals Prep (LMC)

2:00 - Finals Round (ALL EVENTS)

4:30 - AWARDS

ENTRY FEES (please make checks payable to Metea Valley High School)

up to 28 entries - $150.00

29-42 entries - $200.00

43-56 entries - $250.00

* Teams requesting more than 57 entries will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

JUDGES

Please bring one (1) judge for every six (6) entries.

STUDENT DROP OFF AND PICK UP

Please inform your bus drivers to drop off and pick up on the south side of the building.  We ask that you enter through the southeast doors (Door 34) and we will exit after Awards through the southwest doors (Door 1).  Bus drivers can park in the south lot for the day.

CONCESSIONS

We please ask that you support our team and Parent Booster group by enjoying our fully stocked Concession Stand. We will offer Taylor Street Pizza, candy, chips, pop, and water for purchase.
