SpeechWire Tournament Services - Forensics Tournament Software

The Forensics team at Florida State University invites you to join us in the warm Florida weather for two complete tournaments offering all 11 I.E. events following AFA guidelines. All relevant information should be provided in the invitation but please do not hesitate to ask if you have questions. We look forward to seeing you October 8th and 9th in Tallahassee!

Entries: Competitors may not enter more than 3 events per flight. There is not limit for the amount of entires a school may bring, but we ask that you will please bring your judges as well. Entries for BOTH halves should be received by Tuesday, October 4th at 5:00 p.m. However, teams may drop entries without penalties until Wednesday, October 5th at 4:59 p.m. Drops made after Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. will incur a $10.00 nuisance fee until Friday, October 7th at 5:00 p.m.. Drops occuring after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7th will incur a nuisance fee of $20.00.

Judges & Fees: Entry fees are $8.00 per entry, and an additional $12.00 for uncovered entries. 1 judge covers 6 slots. Judge drops made after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7th will incur a $50.00 nuisance fee.

Novice Awards: The top non-advancing novice will be awarded in each event. A novice is a competitor in their first year of competition.

Lunch: Lunch is on your own for both days of the swing. However, there are a plethora of options near our tournament host building including Little Athens, Pita Pit, Tropical Smoothie, McDonald's, and more!

Registration: Registration will take place in the lobby of the Bellamy Building. We ask that you pay for both halves of the swing on Saturday if possible. The building will not be open until 7:00 a.m. so teams wishing to warm up prior to that will need to plan accordingly.
