Hello all Western Slope Tournament S&D Coaches and Teams!

 

It is that time of year for our annual State Qualifying Tournament! We will be utilizing this program again at this tournament so please be sure to enter your information on here during registration. As always, we are looking for judges! Please use the notes, blocks, and availability features when entering judges who you will be bringing. Don't forget to put their name and school affiliation in as well!

 

Pre-Registration is due: FRIDAY FEBRUARY 12th, 2016

A CHSAA Mandated fee of $25.00 will occur if schools do not meet that deadline. 

 

Fees are $12.00 per student.

 

CHSAA rules will be followed as described in the 2015-2016 handbook available at: http://chsaanow.com/activities/speech/ 

 

The topics will be as follows:

LD: 2016 Jan/Feb Topic: Resolved: In the United States, private ownership of handguns ought to be banned.

PF: 2016 February Topic: Resolved: The United States federal government should adopt a carbon tax.

 

Please remember that you are limited to 4 entries in each event. 

 

Just to remind you, the preregistration and check for entry fees must be mailed to CHSAA postmarked NO LATER than Friday, Feb. 12th, or you will incur late fees.  A copy needs to be mailed to to Danielle Lopez at Delta High School along with your OO's with the quoted words marked appropriately.
