LPDL invites you to our 4th tournament of the season!

LPDL Tournament #4 will be held Friday, February 12^th at North Central College in Naperville, IL. Thank you Richard Paine, John Stanley and NCC for your hospitality.

The tournament is intended be a six round tournament with the following schedule:

11:30 -- REGISTRATION

noon -- ROUND ONE

1:15 -- ROUND TWO

2:30 -- ROUND THREE

3:45 -- ROUND FOUR

5:00 -- ROUND FIVE OR Bronze/Silver Round

6:15-- ROUND SIX OR Silver/Gold Round

ASAP -- AWARDS

* The tournament is intended to be a 6 round tournament. However, if the tournament has less than 15 teams a Bronze/Silver and a Silver/Gold round will be held. Schools will be notified of the tournament size when registration closes on February 10^th at 5:00pm.

*Coaches please note and plan for the long day. There are no breaks in the schedule to allow for lunch. We highly encourage coaches to keep the full schedule in mind as you plan your tournament.

Recent debate tournaments have been hard to schedule because of lack of debate judges, we would appreciate if teams could make their best efforts to cover all of their teams. If you cover all of your slots and know someone who LPDL could hire for the tournament, please send me their contact information. We appreciate all of you help in ensuring the current and future success of LPDL.

Registration for the tournament is due: Wednesday, February 10^th, 2016 by 5:00pm.

Registrations should be submitted via SpeechWire at www.speechwire.com.

The LPL by-laws are posted on the IIFA website which you can access at: http://iifa.us/lincoln-parli-debate-league.html.

Currently, the fees are:

1.   $50.00 yearly membership fees (due at the first tournament the team attends)

2.   $10.00 for each covered team entered into the tournament (each judge covers 2 teams).

3.   $50.00 for each uncovered team entered into the tournament. 

4.    A $50.00 drop fee will be applied for each team dropped the day of the tournament.
