2016 New York - New Jersey State Championships

February 6, 2016

Hofstra University

Dear Colleagues:

I am thrilled to welcome you the first ever New York/New Jersey State Championship Tournament.  It has been years since New York or New Jersey has had a state championship tournament, so it makes perfect sense to bridge our forensics landscapes into one.  This one day tournament will crown a New York/New Jersey champion in each event as well as determine the two state representatives for the Interstate Oratorical Association Contest for New York AND New Jersey respectively.  The abbreviated schedule should alleviate the need for excessive travel or hotel stays.  We are excited to be hosted by Hofstra University!

Respectfully,

Trent Webb

Tournament Director

Nassau Community College
