                               Mankato East invites you to its annual Fiesta Speech Invitational February 27, 2016.



The events include all thirteen MSHSL standard categories.  Both NFL and MSHSL time limits will be honored.

We  hold a novice final round for all categories as well as varsity finals.

All preliminary rounds of competition will be mixed between varsity and novice competitors to provide a good example for our young competitors.

Fees -- Registration fee is $6.00 per entry, duo included.

Judges --Each school should furnish one judge for each 6 entries or fraction thereof.

Draws – All stories will be included in the draws for E.Reading, Ex. Reading Poetry & Storytelling.  All rounds, including Finals, will draw clean.

Discussion students will not be allowed to double enter. All other categories may double enter with the knowledge that the student must be at their draw on time if applicable.

FINALS: We will hold varsity and Novice finals in all categories.

CONCESSIONS: breakfast items will be available at 7:30 with lunch options following 3rd round.

JUDGES: INSTRUCTIONS:  IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE ROUND

1. Rank all students (1-5) Rate 90-100.

2. Please reveal rank on critiques

3. Turn in your ballot at the ballot table.

4. Turn in the critiques with your ballot; Please do NOT give them back to the competitors.
