Dear Speech Coaches:
The Battle Lake Lions Club and the Battle Lake Speech team invite you to the Battle Lake Lions Club Speech Invitational on Sat., March 5, 2016, at Battle Lake School. This competition is for junior and senior high students, in all 13 MSHSL categories. Awards will be three team trophies, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals, and ribbons.
Cost: $5.00 per entry. Double entries allowed. Please make checks payable to Battle Lake Public School. Discussion begins 15 minutes after the start of each round, enabling double entry for discussants.
Registration: Deadline to register is Wed., March 2 at 5 pm via Speechwire.com. No refunds after that time.
Registration limits: The tournament will accept 20 teams or 380 registrations.
Judges: 1 judge per 6.5 entries regardless of subsequent drops. Battle Lake has extra judges for 65. To reserve a judge, please contact me at kkensinger@isd542.org by Feb. 26
